Greatest real estate agent in the world

So you´re not into real estate, and you haven´t heard about this contest. So what? Whoever ranks number 1 in Google for greatest real estate agent in the world wins a prize.
Me and my team are currently number 1, but that´s not even the point. 
The point is that my SEO Tip of today is for you to check out the first few pages of the results and tell me what you see.
Authority sites, sites with lots of content, and then… Mixx, Active Rain, Squidoo, Propeller and all of the network pages where someone unable to rank his own site (or is just adding some fuel to his fire) has put up a page with the keywords in the title.
So here is my extended tip for you:
Don´t force yourself onto Google. Google will decide when your site is going to have authority enough to outrank others for competitive terms. Wait for Google by getting traffic.
You can join a whole list of great networks and get traffic thru your posts and profiles by being able to rank those where your sites cannot rank (yet). Many of these networks have do follow links benefitting you in Google. Which ones, I will tell you later.

I think the amount of buzz the contest has generated is pretty cool. Too bad some of it is so negative.
It comes with the territory, contests are one way to find out who your friends are. Not just amongst team members and competitors, but the many onlookers who decide to help you, simply because they want to see you win.
I love how this is real estate related and most of my SEO friends are not a part of this at all, yet they find it interesting, are watching and learning something here and there from some of what we do and also a lot of what our competitors are doing.
