SearchMe - The Visual Search Engine (in BETA)
March 23, 2008
You HAVE TO check out the new visual search engine SearchMe. A review is coming up. SearchMe is the upcoming visual search engine currently available to BETA testers only.
I am amazed and trust me, so will you be.
Searching on SearchMe is like holding up a book, going thru the pages with those pages being the webpages listed for the keywords you are searching for.
Absolutely amazing.

I would like to add that the importance of a good design suddenly becomes a big part of search engine marketing itself. So far we have had several factors determine whether your site will be the one out of 10 which people click on when searching for a phrase you’re ranked for.
Now that people are going to see the actual pages rather than just a title and description, branding is also going to depend more on a logo, unique layout and specific design rather than a slogan in your title.

This will totally transform the way people use the search engines. And I agree with Mike that now design will become increasingly more significant. Design (flash and heavy graphics) was originally my first priority when creating sites but it quickly switched when I started studying SEO. My first thought now is how will they determine rankings - I would definitely want to make the top 5 on this search engine!
Where is the fuckin review I came here for?
I will pay for you to take “Blogging Etiquette 101″ over.
